first of all thank you for this site...very helpful!!!
I would like to know when if possible i can reapply for my "target & hunting" pistol permit after i have been denied.  The reason i was told that i could not have it was do to 2 DWI arrests the last one took place 3 yrs ago.  neither one of them were a felony and only one was at a misdemeanor level.  stupid mistakes i am STILL paying for...

That is still not grounds for firearm resrtictions.  You have to find out from them how long you have to wait.  As far as federal laws is concerned you are not restricted from firearms unless your DWI relates to you being a habitual drinker and if you have 2 DWI's that may be the reason they denied you.  Whoever you spoke to before should be able to tell you how long you will have to wait to reapply.
