Question
When I was 18 I received a felony conviction for domestic violence, losing my right to bear arms. It's been 8 years since my conviction(no convictions since), and my question is  am I able to restore my rights? What is the process and is it really attainable. I'm an avid outdoors men and would love to start hunting with a fire arm. Any information would be great.   Thanks

Answer
You must apply and receive full restoration of rights, no restrictions.  It can either be a certificate of relief, executive clemency, expungement or a full pardon.  It will all depend on the State you was convicted in and where you live presently.

Good Luck
