2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/Gun rights reinstated!!!!

Question
I was charged with the manufacturing of marijuana back several years ago and I think it was considered a felony here in North Carolina! And I was wondering if there was any way possible to get my gun rights back! And what I would have to do to get them back? I have not been charged with anything else nor have I ever been in trouble since!!!

Answer
Jimmy,

Thank you for asking about this matter. Federal law says that convicted felons may not own firearms. I am not sure what North Carolina  laws are on old felony convictions and how they are pardoned or expunged.

If you can get that record pardoned or expunged, then you have a good chance of having your gun rights restored. You may need to seek legal advice on this matter to get it resolved.

Best wishes,

Dan
