2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/Restoration of rites.

Question
I have three felonies on my record. Two for burglary and one for theft. I live in the state of Maine and have been out of trouble since 2002. Neither of the burglaries involved a weapon. Can I get my rites back? Also I've heard I can hunt with a muzzle loader or a bow. Is this true?

Answer
Wow, with three felonies your chances are very slim.  If you was in NY I would say definately, NO.
You will have to apply for full restoration of rights for each felony.  That means no restrictions.
Every state has a different process so you will have to return to the courts where you was convicted or Parole/probation Dept. and find out the process.  Try googling Maine restoration of rights and see what comes up. You may be able to download an application online or directions on applying.
