Question
I live in MN and I have one felony, simple robbery, no weapons were involved when it happened it's been over 5 year. One does any felony disqualify a person from shooting guns. What can I do to get my rights back or can I.
Thank you very much, sincerely Jamie

Answer
Yes, your felony restricts you from firearms completely including firing at the range.  You have to apply for full restoration of rights in the state where you was convicted. Some states do it through the Board of Parole/Probation, some have Executive Clemency Boards you will have to return to the court of conviction and find out your states process for restoration of rights.  You can try a search on google and see what comes up that works as well.
