2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/Fugitive from Justice

Question
I was arrested in Florida 13 years ago for driving suspended (younger and dumber), posted bail, and I am living in KS. I have an arrest warrant still pending as I had forgotten about that a long time ago. I have been denied for a purchase as a fugitive from justice. I really didn't think it would apply to a traffic violation. Can you clarify?

Answer
Yes, Anytime you are on bail or have a court date and you don't appear you are a fugitive.  If the case was not that serious to the courts you would not have to bail out.  You need to return to Florida and face the Judge they would probably dismiss the charges because it's been longer than 10 years but you have to face the courts first.
