Question
If I currently have a ccw permit in Connecticut and get a DUI will my permit be revoked? This is assuming that it is only a dui with nobody harmed or other crime committed.
Thanks

Answer
It may be revoked depending on CT law for DUI's,  Some states say your DUI conviction must have a 5 year lapse before purchasing a firearm or receiving a CCW.  You must report the incident ASAP to the CT licensing Agency and they will make the determination.  As far as Federal firearm codes you are still able to purchase a firearm with a misdemeanor DUI conviction unless you are considered a habitual drunk.

Good Luck
