Question
i have five felony arrests a couple were no actions and like two were withhold of judication.to my understanding i am not a convicted felon. therefor why was i denied a concealed weapon permit? if u have further knowledge of how i can obtain a permit or just plain purchase a firearm to keep at home please get back at me . do i have to get a lawyer? stateing i do have my constitutional rights.

Answer
The two withheld adjudication are the reasons why you are being denied.  adjudication withheld means when you plea bargain you are not convicted as a felon for the crime but you are considered guilty. You will have to apply and receive full restoration of rights in the state where you was convicted because obviously they are denying you a permit for your offense because in that state adjudication being withheld is still a firearm restriction.  In some state a certain time has to elapse since your plea in order to get your firearm restrictions released, Usually 5 years.
