Can I get my rights back with forgery and drugs felony's there were in all in Macon ga. It has been about nine years with no other charges in the time frame other than speeding tickets. I am not on any prorole or probbation it has been nine years since i have been off. what do i need to do. All i want is to be able to carry a c2 tser for protection, i drive a big truck for a living. I will be taking classes. I would love to be able to hunt I do not want to carry a fire arm. I am becoming a preacher an do not want to kill no body just stop them. John

You will have to apply for full restoration of rights on all felony convictions at the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Parole their number is (404) 656-5330 Executive Clemency Dept.

You will still need to apply and receive a firearm permit even after you receive executive clemency. If you don't you will not pass the NICS check to purchase a weapon.
