In November 2006, I received a BAC (Blood alcohol content).  I live in Missouri which is where I received the ticket.  I was 19 at the time.  It was basically a minor in possession.  my blood alcohol was under .08. I was operating a vehicle but it went down as an MIP/BAC because I was a minor at the time.  I am getting ready to apply for a CCW through Florida because Missouri is 23.  I was just wondering if this would hold me back?

19 years old is not a minor 17 and below is considered a minor according to federal laws.  That would not hold you from legally owning a firearm but remember CCW Permits are at the discretion of the issuing agency.  Florida Dept. of Agriculture will answer all your questions over the phone just give them a call.
