2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/do I qualify?

Question
When I was 18 (1999) I received a ticket for Minor in Possession of alcohol, I pleaded no contest, paid a fine
and that was it. Then when I was barely 19 (2000)I went
down town to take care of a bad check I had written (less
than $50), they finger printed me & took photos of me (I
wonder if that would be considered being arrested?). Then
they had me meet with some person that said I would have a
$10 fine and small amount of community service. All of this
was taken care of shortly after.  I was so young and naive
then that I really didn't pay attention to what was going
on, I just complied with what they told me to do and didn't
ask questions. I have no idea what the official name of the
charge was and saved none of the paper work.  This all took
place in Texas. I now live in PA and am wondering if any of
this will prevent me for receiving my C&C license. I would
love your advice and opinion. Thank you in advance!

Answer
None of those charges are felonies or domestic violence misdemeanors so you are cleared to receive a CCW Permit. If for some reason PA denies you apply for a Virginia non resident permit.  Go to Virginia State Police website and download the application.  If you need the firearm safety course for Virginia send me your email and I will send you the online course site.
