in 1976 i was placed on 2 year probation for larceny in Florida.  i live in Massachusetts now and just got my LTC with no restrictions and just tried to purchase a firearm and the FBI denied the sale. i just sent in the request to appeal the denial. DO I HAVE A CHANCE OF EVER BUYING A FIREARM  OR HAVE I LOST MY SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS WITH THE LARCENY VERDICT? HOW CAN I GET THIS FIXED?

You will lose the appeal most likely because you ae restricted from firearms until you apply for Florida Full Executive Clemency.  You can download the application online at Florida Executive Clemency website.  Make sure you download the application for firearm restoration of rights.  You can do it by mail because your conviction happened in Florida.  I don't know how Mass. gave you a
LTC with a conviction on your record.  You didnt say but was this a felony or misdemeanor? If it was a misdemeanor you are not restricted from firearms.
