2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/restoring gun rights

Question
I plead guilty to attempting to commit a felony in Tennessee in 1977 concerning a receiving and concealing arrest. This is my only arrest. My voting rights were restored in 1980. I thought all my rights were restored. I applied for and received a ffl in 1988 , I relinquished it in 1994 at a time of renewal. Now I find when I try to even buy a gun I am turned down. How can I get my rights restored?

Answer
Your full rights can only be restored through a Pardon, Expungement, conviction set aside or full restoration of rights/Executive Clemency. In Tennessee you can apply for full restoration of rights.  Every State has a different process you will have to research TN process and apply.
