Question
In 1999 is was arrested for class E felony. aggravated unlicence motorist. since
than and before i work for the city of ny. Today i just got denide for purchasing
a handgun in the state of NC. I am now a Homeowner and resident of this
state,what can i do

Answer
No one can own firearms legally with a felony unless you had full restoration of rights it does not matter where you live in this Country.  NC does not recognize restoration of rights you must get a full Pardon from the State you was convicted in. If it happened in NYS you and I both know the chances of getting a NYS Pardon is almost impossible. You have to prove you was falsely convicted and must not have plead guilty.
