Question
if a convicted felon shoots in the air with a weopon on new years eve, and was arrested, what likely could happen? And so they consider that a dangerous crime? Thank you

Answer
Well, he/she should be convicted of illegal possession of a firearm by a felon and illegal discharge of a firearm which should be listed as a violent crime.  I know of a felon who was just sentenced to 6 years in Prison for possession of a firearm as a felon in NYC.  A felon with a
firearm is a serious offense you MUST get full restoration of rights before you can own a firearm
as a felon.
