Question

somewhere near Helena,
I am moving to the backwoods of Montana. We are miles from the nearest
neighbor. I have three felonies: 1994 Drugs w/intent to deliver, 1999 Assault
3rd degree, and 2006 Assault 2nd degree. I know there are guns on the 31 acres
, but not in our cabin. I paid all my court fines and can vote. Can I legally own a
firearm, or even a bow, for hunting in Montana?

Answer
No, You will most likely never own a firearm legally again.  I don't know of any State that will restore anyone's firearm rights with three violent felonies.  Incase you did not know drug possession w/ intent to sell, transport and manufacture is all considered violent crimes as well as assault.
