I HAVE A OU 8X57JR RIFLE ON THE BOTTOM, 16 GA. ON THE TOP.  MY FATHER BOUGHT IT FROM A SEAMAN ABOUT FIFTY YEARS AGO. THERE ARE NAMES ON IT AND MARKINGS AS FOLLOWS: HERMANN SCHNEIDER,ZELLA MEHLIS,PR KRUPP STAHL, 3658$.  IT HAS A FLIP UP REAR SIGHT AND CLAW MOUNT FOR A SCOPE WITH INTRICATE MACHINE ENGRAVINGS ON THE BREACH AND THE REAR OF THE BARREL. THE TRIGGER GUARD MAY BE OF HORN OF SOME TYPE. THE RIFLE TRIGGER HAS A SCREW FOR ADJUSTING THE SENSITIVITY.  THE STOCK AND GRIP WAS CUSTOM MADE BY MR. C. J. COFFIN, A MASTER STOCK MAKER FROM ODESSA, TEXAS, AFTER THE ORIGINAL WAS BROKEN IN AN ACCIDENT.  I WOULD LIKE TO GET  MORE INFORMATION ON THIS GUN.  WAS THIS POSSIBLY CUSTOM MADE OR WAS IT MASS MANUFACTURED.  INCLUDED ARE PICTURES OF THE GUN.

This is not only NOT a Second Amendment question, one typed with your caps-lock on (making it more difficult to read), but one which should be addressed in person to someone qualified to evaluate and appraise antique firearms.

It looks like a beauty... keep it that way and do not attempt to fire it until a competent gunsmith has examined it.
