Question
some 43 years ago i was sentenced to prison for an  A and B felony.  I served 26 years and was released. I then served 16 years on parole.

I have no idea as to how or who I should speak with concerning restoration or even if it is possible.  I would like to be  able to hunt. can you point me in the right direction.  (I reside in NYS)

                                     Thank you

                                      James

Answer
Sorry James it's not going to happen in New York.  I know people in NY that were only
sentenced to probation and still can't get their firearm rights restored in New York
with a non-violent crime.  NY is a anti-gun State for people with clean records so with
a felony conviction and 26 years incarcerated I can't see that ever happening anywhere
in this Country.
