Question
Do you have to have a ccw to bear arms in Ecorse Michigan Wayne county? Or can you carry it in sight like in a holster on your hip?

Why are you asking here instead of going to the Lansing Website and researching your question there?

In general, Michigan is an anomalous Open Carry state, but I'm not certain I'd like to be openly carrying in an urban area like Ecorse. (By the same token, I'd certainly like the right to carry concealed there.)

Your best bet is, if you can't find the answer in the Michigan laws on-line, make an inquiry of local law enforcement. They will also apprise you of the likelihood of you getting your butt shot up by a nervous police officer.
