Question
I am a convicted felon, non violent, and would like to have my rights restored. I have been discharged from the department of corrections in West Virginia for 7 years. I have no idea where to even begin. Any suggestions?

Answer
While this is not a Second Amendment matter, Criminal Justice issues seem to predominate of late.

Where to start? You must have a probation or parole officer, and you should inquire there about obtaining relief from your firearms disability.

Failing that, consult an attorney in your jurisdiction.
