2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/Misdemeanor charge in WY

I plead guilty to a misdemeanor marijuana use charge 7 mos ago.  I attempted to purchase a gun here in WY while the issue was still pending and was denied the right to purchase a firearm.  Should I go through the appeal process first wait and make another attempt to purchase a gun.  According to the law I should be eligible to purchase a gun shouldn't I?

Michael, as those serve here do so pro bono publico, it's not fair to request a "private consultation!"

Since you attempted to make your purchase while the charge was still pending, you could have had no firm idea of what sort of liability a finding of Guilt or a Guilty plea would have exposed you to, so you probably lied on the ATF Forum 4473.

Now, my question to you is, did you ever stop to wonder why it's called "Dope?"
