Question
If I took the plea of guilty with special conditions ( gun course ,1 yr probation with six months of early termination , and keep my fulltime job ) and closed my case on aug 2008 with a with-hold adjudication for felony possesion over 20 grams of marijuana in Miami fl. How long do I have to wait to get my firearms back since there in The property holding department, and should I get a lawyer  or can I go by myself with a court order or do I have to get my gun rights restored? Thank you in advance for your help.

Answer
William,

I am not a legal expert so get yourself a lawyer and ask him these questions. One thing that I can tell you is that drug related charges will prohibit your firearms rights under Federal laws regarding felony convictions.

Dan
