Hi, I am a international student , here in America on F-1
VISA, I live in Fremont,California. I have been mugged twice
this month only, at gun point. I don't have any criminal
record and have to intention to have one in future. I just
want to live safe. Please help me telling. Will they allow
me to buy a gun from store. Will I be issued a permit. I
don't know where else to turn. I will highly appreciate if
you can give me the appropriate information.

Thanks for asking and I can understand your concern. As far as I have read about it, If you have a clean record, yes, A foriegn national can buy a firearm in California , if: they have a California  ID or DL over 3 months old, a utility bill or insurance card also over 3 months old.
