I would recommend buckshot for home defense.
A bean bag can hurt. However, if the intruder is high on drugs and an adrenaline rush
it might not stop them. What do you do while waiting for the police?
A good response time is 6 minutes if your in a city. It can be far longer in rural areas.
If he is disabled by the wind being knocked out him, will he catch his breath before the police arrive? What if the intruder has a firearm?
