2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/Handgun while on probation

Question
hello, my question is this,

i have a class B misdemeanor due to a speeding ticket. (85 mph in a 35mph zone)
i was given 2 years of UNSUPERVISED probation and am only 7 months into it, and will be turning 21 next month. Will i pass the background check? My record is clean other than that.
i live in missouri if that matters at all.
i would really like to hear back, thanks,
Danny-

Answer
Danny,

Thanks for asking. Normally a speeding ticket would not prevent you passing the background check.
However 50MPH over the limit and probation may come up during the process. One way to find out is go ahead and try to purchase a handgun. You may find out that you may have to wait until you are off probation.

Best regards,

Dan
