Question
five years ago my husband was convicted of felony DUI and assault when he caused an accident on the highway. he was the only one injured although he hit another vehicle. he was not in possession of any firearms at the time, therefore his crime did not involve guns, but being that he was under felony charges his rights to own or be in the vicinity of a gun, were revoked. he has since served his time, and his probation. now we are wondering how or if he can ever have again the right to own a gun or live in the same household as a gun owner.

Why would you ask that question here? This is the Second Amendment topic, and here you are making a Criminal Justice inquiry. Aren't there any competent attorneys in Alaska?

As a side note, I would remind you that convicted Watergate felon G. Gordon Liddy, the last time I looked, is also a prohibited person, and often made comments on his radio show about "Mrs. Liddy keeping a handgun on her side of the bed."
