2nd Amendment and Right to Bear Arms/Pending

Question
QUESTION: Thank you for taking my question, and I hope this isn't to much in the criminal justice department...
My husband has attempted to purchase a handgun, and was put on an additional delay for the background check (we are in Wisconsin).
He was arrested for a felony, nothing has gone to court yet, so there is no conviction. Can they prohibit a purchase prior to a felony conviction?
Secondary question, do all firearms have the same rules? In checking out Wisconsin firearms law, it seems confusing...not sure if one could purchase a shotgun for hunting.
Thanks for your help!

ANSWER: #1: This is "to{sic} much in the criminal justice department," and has nothing to do with the Second Amendment.

#2: Guns is guns as far and being a prohibited person.

QUESTION: Perhaps if you're not (too) busy, you may attempt at correcting the spelling regarding the site you are an "expert" on.
I received this e-mail: "This is the second notice that your questoin is answered."
Question is not spelled correctly.
Thank you for answering my questIOn.
You are obviously a sad, lonely little man. Sorry to bother you, and take you away from your computer porn. It took so long for you to even answer the question, perhaps you can ask your mother for your own computer.
Thanks, and have a wonderful day!!

Answer
Dear Dawnette;

I can appreciate your embarrassment at your inability to distinguish the grammatical differences between "to" and "too," and failure to realize that a gun is a gun insofar as the criminal justice system is concerned, and also your lay attempts at head-shrinking, but a dispassionate examination of your complaint will reveal that the response (with the glaring typo) you received was generated by the All Experts system, over which none of us have any control.

I will, however, attempt to call that to the attention of someone who can rectify it.

As far as the length of time it took for me to respond to your initial inquiry, upon closer examination, you will see that I answered you in less than an hour (31 minutes to be exact). It took you almost four days to read it, is all, and of course that's your absolute right.

I can answer questions about Handguns, Rifles, Ammunition, the Firearms Industry, the "gunzine game," practical accessories for self-defense (CCW) handguns; rumor control on firearms myths, errata on the "gunshop grapevine."

I am NOT an Attorney, and nothing I provide here should be relied upon as legal advice. Therefore, please do NOT make inquiries about Criminal Justice issues... this is the Second Amendment topic.

Nor do I do "Private Consultations." Want to made it "private," retain an attorney.
