Question
MY STEP SON IS GOING TO BE IN LAW INFORCEMENT IN NY. CAN HE GET A PISTOL PERMIT IF I LIVE IN SAME HOUSE .I HAVE A NON VOILENT FELONY?THANK YOU.

Answer
Glenn,

Thanks for asking. Yes he can get a pistol permit for his job. Both of you just need to make sure you do not have access to the firearm. If you want to clear your record, file to expunge or pardon your charge. This may require legal help.

Best regards,

Dan
