Question
I have recently purchased 2 handguns in missouri but i have read that if you have had a felony sis you can buy guns but cant get a ccw permit in missouri, it has been over 5 years since my probation has ended, am i eligible to get a non resident ccw permit in florida or utah?

Answer
Rob,

Thanks for asking. Under Federal Law convicted felons cannot buy firearms, period. If you have a felony on your record, you will not be able to get a CCW permit either no matter where you are. You can file to expunge or pardon your record, which may require legal help.

Best regards,

Dan
