how can i get my 2nd amendment rights restored. I was arrested and convicted of something I did not do.My star wittiness was never allowed to testify on my behalf nor was the evidence that proved my innocents allowed to be presented. This was back in 2000 and i've been fighting for over 11 years up hill, This all happened in Lake county Florida. I did 90 days in lake county jail and 3 years probation. I have found no lawyer that would touch this.

Answer
#1: This is a Criminal Justice question, not a Second Amendment one.

#2: What happened after your arrest is immaterial other than you were convicted. The "I didn't do it and I was railroaded" carries no weight.

#3: You didn't say what the charge was or the conviction was, or whether the sentence was for 90 days or you just served 90 days of a sentence that was longer. This would play into the likelihood of a restoration of your Civil Rights.

#4: You fail to specify whether you were represented by counsel after your arrest. There's a whole lot you leave out.

#5: You say that "no lawyer would touch this" and suggest that you've "been fighting for over 11 years" to overturn your conviction. Things like this CAN happen to someone who is innocent, but rarely do!

If your original conviction was not a felony, than you may not have even lost your Second Amendment rights.
