Question
How can a foid card be legal with the 2nd amendment right to bare arms isnt that a violation of our rights in Illinois. i have not done alot reseach on this yet.

Answer
Jimmy,

Thanks for asking. The State of Illinois requires an FOID card even though the right to keep and bare arms is guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment. All of the states have gun laws that may or may not conflict with the 2nd amendment. Illinois is known as one of the most restrictive states for gun owners.
