What are some good arguments for being against the second amendment.

Really to me there are no good arguments, but there are some false complaints.   One false complaint, someone stated that if you allow law abiding citizens to have guns they won't be law abiding citizens anymore. (false) Each state keeps a record of how many permit holders have committed gun crimes, the percentage is very low.  Infact there are many cases when permit holders saved police officers lives and other civilians from being murdered by unlawful gun holders.  I myself was robbed at gun point in NYC where there is strict gun control laws.  I could not defend myself and all my property just went off with the criminals.  The same attempt happened to me in Virginia I was able to defend these thieves off without anyone getting hurt.  I was not able to hold them for the police but they will think twice before they do it again.  If law abiding citizens where not allowed to defend themselves and family criminals would rule.  Either stop manufacturing guns for everyone, including police officers or let me have my 9mm.
