Hello Mr Speir. I am looking for a NEW (I have got BURNED buying USED items) 9mm semi-auto that is dependable YET between $250-$350. Can you please recommend 2 or 3 along with the est. costs? (ballpark)? Also, any advice you can give about buying at a GUN SHOW would be much appreciated. Thank you much,     John

I'm not sure that "new dependable, affordable semi-auto pistols" in the "$250-$350" range is all that realistic today. But depending on your intended "end-use," you might want to take a look at one of the "poured metal" pistols.

Sorry you've gotten "burned" in the previously-owned marketplace, but perhaps you need to either take a firearms-knowledgeable buddy with you, and do some serious tire-kickin'.
