Subject: ? about handguns
Question I know that you can have a shotgun at 18 years of age inside your home.I was told that you could have a handgun inside your home too.I thought that at all times you had to have a registration and ccw for a handgun. If you could clear up the laws on having a handgun in Indiana I would really apperciate this. I was considering about buying a handgun but i dont want a ccw I'm not going to carry it around. I only wanted it for home protection.
Answer I was going to let this go but no I'm not. You say I don't know shit but the advice I was giving you you did not want. I gave you the easy way to handle your situation but instead you want me to tell you Indiana State laws. Only the Federal Gov't (BATFE) make firearm laws and thats the bottom line not Indiana. Staes can only add their piece in but they don't over ride the Gov't law. Now call your Lawyer and ask him the same question and see who don't know shit besides you.
