311/P-Nut or Flea

Question
Hey, I'm a big fan of RHCP, but I've heard 311 recently and I liked it! I like P-Nut's style which is very similar to Flea's. Is Flea P-Nut's inspiration? Idol? Model? And who is better bass player?
One more thing. Can you recommend me some of 311's songs that are similar to Feels so good, Down, Amber, All mixed up...?

I don't know for sure if Flea is his inspiration, he hasn't really talked about it. Since that is more of a personal question, I do not know the answer to that. You can always go to their bulletin board on 311.com and ask P-Nut a question in the Bandmembers Forum. He doesn't always get to answer but it's worth a shot. I don't have any true opinion on who is a better bass player.
As for recommendations, try out Homebrew, Lucky, Visit, 123, Sweet, Hive, Starshines, Stealing Happy Hours, Running, Lose, Jackolanterns Weather....etc etc etc. If you like those songs I listed you'll like a lot of their songs. Try them all out!

I can answer almost any question about 311 that someone would have, unless it is about the band`s personal life, as I do not know them personally. I can answer questions about songs, their website, albums, tours, etc. I WILL NO LONGER ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT RARE MERCHANDISE. People keep asking me about it and when I don't have a place for them to buy the merch from, they get upset with me. I am human, I cannot make the rare merch magically appear, that's why it's rare. IF YOU ARE TRYING TO FIND RARE MERCH, keep looking on Ebay and other auction websites. If you ask me questions about merch, I will not answer them (unless for some reason I know of somewhere that you don't).
Experience
I have been a fan for 11 years and have seen 27 shows in 9 different states. I am a member on their bulletin board and receive updates very often on what the band is doing.
