how do i do it? using ambiant light or sport light?
which parameter should i change to make it look realistic and didnt effect the building around it.
i have try to put in a omni light, but it seem too bright ..and look like in a day!

thank u

Answer
Hi,
you can do this with many different ways...
Here are 2 of them.

1. Use omni or spot (try which is better for your scene),
but the two things you should take care are the strength of light and the shadows.
Use the parameters for light ranges to avoid lighting far outside.

2. If you have objects to simulate glass windows, give them a yellow transparent material that has self illumination (looks like the window its a light itself). This gives the illusion of light from inside (better from far views).

The best result will come if you combine the two ways.
In this case, give to the glass objects the option not to make shadows (exclude them from the receive shadow list) So, the inside light will pass through them, effecting a short range outside the building and making the scene look perfect.

Remember!! All the obects of the building must drop shadows.

To help you better, you can email me a rendered view of the scene.
