Question
hi there!
i am trying to make a sphere object invisable during animation, my aim is to make it explode using particle arrays and during the initial 2 frames of the particle arrays imminent explosion i am attempting to hide the sphere at that moment, i know there is a way of using the track view to do this but i can't quite manage it!

thanks for your time, i'll be your best mate if you can help me!

sat!

Answer
Mr. Khabra,

I did not exactly understand your question but i can try to explain u the problem u might be having

ok u wanna explode the shpere with p array right and dont wanna show the sphere in some way i can the show how to hide it on a specific frame and how not to hide but not the difficult track veiw way coz i my self have problems in it ok then.

steps :_

1. make a p array and make a sphere

2. pick object as sphere for the parray and give the properties u want to

3. give the sphere some material ok

4. now lets say that u want the sphere t be visible in the first wo frames and invisible until frame number 30

5. goto to the matlib and asign the mat to the sphere and keep the mat lib open

6. and goto frame one and click on animate goto frame no 2 make the opacity of the material to 99 and goto next frame and make it opacity as 0

7. and then goto the frame where u want it to be visible go 1 frame back increase the opacity by 1 and on the next frame increase the opacity by 100 or what ever u like

8. now stop animating and render u will see that the sphere is not there in the in render and if u have made it visible on a certain frame
the way i told u how and then u will have it visible there

9. for an example for this u can dowload it from my site http://ionstudios.itgo.com/farhan_3D.htm

The file to download is blast.exe

i hope this gives u the idea for how to do it

and i hope that u are satisfied with my answer

yours
