Subject: moving vertices

Question
I have a mesh or a spline or anything with multiple vertices.  I want to assign the value 0 to the x component of all of the vertices.  It works if I, one at a time, select a vertex, and assign 0 to the x component.  It takes a long time.  However, if I select all of the vertices at the same time and as a group assign 0 to the x component, it will center the vertices around x = 0.  How can I select all of the vertices at the same time and as a group assign 0 to the x component of all the vertices?

Answer
Dear Linden,
The thing you can do is, go to sub-object mode & select vertex (you can also do this by pressing the key 1 on your keyboard, remember its not Num 1), then select all the vertices you want to move & lock the selection. Now change the value of X coordinate of the selected vertices.

Best Wishes,
Harsh Sharma.
