Subject: How do i weld objects together

Question
I have some objects that im trying to weld together to make one object.  So how do i get vertices or planes or dots or anything to weld together?  Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanx in advance
Mat Williams

P.S. Im using 3d max 6

Answer
Dear Mathew,
Thanks for your question. In the Command Panel (the Right Pane), choose "Compound Objects" from the Drop Down List & select the option "Boolean", (this is used to weld, trim or intersect two objects).
Select first object & In Boolean parameters choose "Union" & click the option "Pick Operand B", & now click the other object you want to weld. That's it.

Please get back to me for any further help.
Best Wishes,
Harsh Sharma.
