Question
96 suburban 4X4, replaced 2 wire actuator with new 3 wire actuator, hooked up 3rd wire, when I switch to 4H or 4Lo, the light flashes. I can hear the transfer case shift, but my front axle does not lock. Fuse inside vehicle is good. What do I need to look at now?

Mark ,from what I am hearing , I would say you have a wiring problem , I would go back over the wires that you put on the actuator and see if there is anything ovious, maybe a loose wire ,bad ground ? Let me know , oh and since you can hear the transfercase engage, it almost has to be in the front , ADAM
