I have a 79 chevy3/4 4x4 and I need to put o new u joint on right side. How do I get the spindle off to do that? And should I do the other side as well

Jacob, I would only do the side that is bad. You have to take off the lockout and than there will be a nut that you will have to take off with 4 notches on it. Than a bearing, and than a nother nut . I would tell you to get a book so that you will know how it goes back together as well thanks ADAM
