Expert: Adam Kinion - 7/4/2009

Adam,
 I have a 2004 GMC Canyon SLE 4WD crew cab.  My truck has about 87K on it.  I use the 4WD frequently year round.  It has been about 6 weeks since using it last and now it doesn't engage.  I press the dash button, you can hear the actuator activate, but then nothing but a blinking light on the dash beside the 4-High button.  I have even tried it while in neutral...same blinking light.  I have also tried to put it in 4-Low.  You can hear the actuator, but still no dice.  Any ideas??  Your help would be much appreciated!!

Jason , I know that in the trailblazers, the 4x4 system goes to sleep and you have to take the fuse out for the 4x4 and leave it out for like 30 min and than put it back in , if that doesnt work it is either the motor on the transfercase , or the elecric control box . Thanks ADAM
