i just bought a 1993 chevy suburban 4x4 the transfer case will in gage and the front drive line turns but the front end dos not pull the 4 wheel drive light doesn't even come on is there something im not doing right cause all im doing is moving the shifter

Jesse, no you are not doing anything wrong , it is more than likely that you have a bad part, it could either be the actuator in the front end, or there is a small 1 or 2 wire switch on top of the transfer case that could be bad . If you need any more help just ask ADAM
