Oh, I've got a baby sister

and she's learning how to talk,

but there are just two words that she

has learned to say, Me Too!

No matter what I ask her  --  me too

And no matter what I do

Her vocabulary  never seems to change  -- me too

I hear her in the morning a   --- me too

And I hear her all day long

And I even hear her when Iím out at play  -- me too

She follows me around the house   --  me too

and plays with all my toys,

and at times I think I'll pack

and run away, ----  Me Too!

I wanna go out, Me Too!

I wanna stay home, Me Too!

I wanna take a rocket to the moon, Me Too.

I wanna chew gum, Me Too!

I wanna play ball, Me Too!

I'm gonna lose my temper pretty soon!

(Giggle) Me Too!

Oh I know she's just a baby

and she'learning how to talk

but the same two words

are drivng me insane, Me Too!

And yet I canít stay mad

because I love her very much

Me too, me too, that's all she says, Me Too!

I am 54 years old, haven't heard this song in DECADES... but it seems I remember EVERY WORD of "Me, Too!"

Here goes:

(Musical Introduction)

I've got a baby sister

and she's learning how to talk;

there are just two words

that she has learned to say:

"Me, too!"

No matter what you ask her,

and no matter what you do,

her vocabulary never seems to change:

"Me, too!"

I hear it in the morning,

and I even hear it when I'm out at play:

"Me, too!"

She follows me around the house

and plays with all my toys;

and at times I think I'll pack

and run away!

"Me, too!"

I wanna go out.

"Me, too!"

I wanna stay home.

"Me, too!"

I wanna take a rocket to the moon!

"Me, too!"

I wanna chew gum.

"Me, too!"

I wanna play ball.

"Me, too!"

I'm gonna lose my temper pretty soon!

(Giggle) "Me, too!"

Now, I know she's just a baby

and she'learning how to talk --

but the same two words

are drivng me insane!

"Me, too!"

And, yet I can't stay mad

because I love her very much...

"Me, too! Me, too!"

That's all she says!

"Me, too!"

(Musical Interlude; then, repeat from Bridge to end)

Greetings ~

I am 54 years old, haven't heard this song in DECADES... but it seems I remember EVERY WORD of "Me, Too!" (I admit I am utterly SHOCKED!! LOL!!)

I can hear the entire song with music just as though it were 1964! :-)

PS: If ANYONE has it or finds it, PLEASE upload it to youtube and 'TAG ME' (if that's possible)!! I'd love to hear it even if only just once!!

Thanks! :-)

Thank you for this flashback.  My sister and had somehow been roped into performing this song to a church groupin the 50s(thanx Mom).  We were talking about it today and I took a chance with the first line of the song. Surprised us when I was able to play the song ["Me Too].  Now I can remiind Mom how cruel  it was when I play it for her tomorrow.  Thx again, Ian & Maggie Mae

Expertise

I can usually find lyrics, and titles of songs, or names of groups.

Experience

I grew up in the 50's. My teenage years were from 1954 to 1960. I collect records from the 50's and beyond in many genres. Lots of Doo Wop, my favorite music. I answered questions on this website for a while with very good results. I just got burned out and took a sabbatical.
