Question
My previous post/question had an error in the search string. Here it is again,
corrected:

I'm trying to remember the name of an instrumental from around the mid-
80s. Everyone seems to recognize it, but nobody can identify it for me. The
main instrument is a horn (trumpet?). It was a popular song (played on the
radio), and I think it was also used as a theme song for a TV drama. You can
hear a MIDI at www.musipedia.org. Go to "keyboard  search" and enter the
following string:
g'16 f'16 g'16 f'2. g'16 f'16 g'16 f'2. g'8 f'8 g'16 f'2. d''8 d''4 c''4 b'4 a'4 a'8
b'16 g'2
then hit "search Musipedia." Ignore the search results; just click on the little
microphone below the notes to hear the MIDI.)

Thanks!

Answer
Hi Kari,

This song is "Feels So Good" by Chuck Mangione on the album of the same name. It was released in 1977 and reached #2 on the pop chart.

The song was never used as a theme song to a TV show. Hope this helps, and thanks for the question!
