Hi, I am looking for a song, probably 80s (not sure if it goes further back), it was well known, still is but I donīt remember the title or any of the lyrics!
It was a woman singing (i think) in an almost wispering voice and all i remember is that after some words it goes:
da da da da,
da da-da da,
da da da da,
da da-da da
sorry i havenīt been much of a help...

Hi Nicole,
That sounds like Suzanne Vega singing "Tom's Diner". The song is originally sung acapella on her "Solitude Standing" album, but was then remixed into a more energetic track by the group DNA using her vocal track.
