About Randy
Expertise
I can answer general Top 40 and mainstream rock questions. I'm not as strong on the really obscure stuff or Europe-centric stuff.

Experience
I was a DJ in the 80's, both on and off the radio. My expertise is Top 40, but I also enjoy metal and new wave from the era.

Question
There's a video/song in the mid to late 80s.  I can only remember the mechanical robots/manequins in the air moving their legs.  During the song is says "wicked, wicked, wicked..." and that's it.  Do you know what I'm talking about?

Answer
Hi Maddy,
The video you describe sounds like the video for "Rockit" by Herbie Hancock, from 1983.  It's available on YouTube, check it out.  The "wicked wicked" that you describe sounds like it might be all of the "scratching" sounds included in the song.  Scratching was really big in the club scene in the mid 80s.

Hope that helps!
Randy
