Question
Hi william!
I also grew up in the 80s and I just love the music in that decade.
there´s a song, though, which has stumpped me. If i´m not mistaken it was a hit (at leat in my country honduras) back in the late 80s maybe 1988 1989. this upbreat dance hit has no lyrics and includes a lot of clapping. I love this song.
people hrer know it by "levantate" (get up) what song is it?

Answer
The song was by a group called "Abstain" and the song (get up) or "rise up" was never released in the US. If this song exists at all it would be in some independant college radio archives somewhere. There is VERY little chance at recovering it AND it isnt available for resale. This group only cut 2 45 albums...a total of 4 songs. Still I have use my many resources to try and get a line on it for you as to where you can get it...BUT, I'am told the same. The song just isnt available in the mainstream vendors.
Iam really sorry to have to give you this news.
If I have helped you at all, will you please leave me positive ratings feedback. I honestly searched everywhere for you.
If there is anything at all that I can do for you...please do not hesitate to address your questions to me.
Thank-you
William
