I bought a album in 1985 which I would like to know the name of the artist.On the cover she was wearing a dress which I think was orange and I beleive her first name was Amy, and I think the album was called "Friends". She may have been French although she sang in English. She remended me of Whitney Houston but it isn't her! She sang ballads/soul songs, lovely album, can you help?
hey samantha, you just gave the right hints that i didn't have to look further. The artist you had mind was AMY STEWART and she had made a name with that song "Friends". Amy Stewart also did collaborations with Mike Francis who also recorded his version of "Friends".
