hey jeff, i have the answer to the first question only. it's one of the best songs indicative of the disco era in the late 70s. the song was called "Souvenirs" done by a French disco  group "Voyage". "Souvenirs"  is by today's standards a very avant-garde song, this stunning hit from Voyage is probably the essential and highest point of the disco era. If it were to be released today, it would blow away many of today's club songs.
